The Baily Thomas Provident Fund is a grant making trust dedicated to supporting former employees of Mansfield Brewery PLC and its affiliated businesses including its pubs.
Spouses/partners and dependent children of former employees may also be eligible for support.
The trust is designed to assist with a range of needs, from help with health and wellbeing, to encouraging individuals to stay fit and active, to helping further their education and learning. Whether it’s providing financial assistance to support a health issue or funding opportunities for educational advancement, the trust plays an important role in supporting the lives of its beneficiaries.

Grants are awarded at the discretion of the trustees of the trust and are non-means tested. A wide range of support is available, including:
Assistance with medical and dental treatment costs
Support for winter fuel costs in recent years
Funding for education and training including university
Contributions towards computer purchases including laptops and tablets
Assistance with sports club or gym membership costs
Help with funeral expenses
Eligible individuals can also access a suite of wellbeing services including:
A health cash plan insurance policy
Financial coaching
Mental health support through counselling and therapy
To be considered as a beneficiary of the trust, all you need is to have worked for Mansfield Brewery PLC, or one of its businesses or pubs for more than six months.

Baily Thomas Provident Trustee Limited is a corporate trustee of the Baily Thomas Provident Fund. Glenn Longden and Lee Harrison are directors of Baily Thomas Provident Fund Trustee Limited and act as trustees. They are both children of former employees of Mansfield Brewery and have the interest of the beneficiaries at heart. Glenn is a retired Chief Inspector of the Nottinghamshire Police force and Lee is a Commercial Director.
